How we handle personal data.
Privacy is not an afterthought. We collect as little data as possible and explain clearly what happens with it.
This is a translation for readers who do not speak Dutch. In the event of any difference in interpretation, the Privacy is the binding text, because it is the one filed under Dutch law.
1. Who is responsible?
Stichting Zorgfuik (Caretrap Foundation) is responsible for the processing of personal data through this website. The foundation is currently being established. For privacy questions, contact us at info@stichtingzorgfuik.nl or by telephone on +31 30 227 34 91.
2. What data do we process?
This website contains forms for contact and press, for offering a board role or expertise, for registering as a reviewer or research partner, and for receiving updates. These forms are provided by Tally. We process the data you enter yourself, such as name, email address, organisation, telephone number and the content of your message. You decide what you share; only name, email address and your message are required.
When you consent to statistics, Google Analytics 4 processes data about your visit, such as pages viewed, time, device type and a truncated IP address. Without your consent this does not happen. See the cookie policy for your choice and how to change it.
The hosting provider may also process technical log data needed to keep the website secure and available, such as IP address, time, requested page, browser information and error messages.
3. Why do we process data?
- to answer questions and requests;
- to maintain contact about collaboration, governance, media or support;
- to secure the website technically and investigate malfunctions;
- to comply with legal obligations;
- to protect our legitimate interests, such as preventing misuse and fraud.
4. Processors
We use Tally for forms, Google Analytics 4 for statistics and GoFundMe for donations. With parties that process personal data on our behalf we make agreements about security and use. Subscriptions to updates are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do through the link in every email or via info@stichtingzorgfuik.nl. See section 8 for retention periods.
5. Experiences with care
Caretrap Foundation is not an individual help desk, complaints body or case handler. Experiences are collected through the dedicated environment on Zorgfuik.nl. Do not send medical records, citizen service numbers or other unnecessarily sensitive data by ordinary email.
6. Legal bases
Depending on the situation, we process personal data because it is necessary to carry out a request or agreement, on the basis of consent, because of a legal obligation, or on the basis of a legitimate interest.
7. Sharing with others
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only where necessary for our services, security, hosting or legal obligations. Where needed, we make agreements with processors about protection and confidentiality.
8. Retention periods
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary. Ordinary contact correspondence is in principle deleted once its purpose has been served, unless longer retention is required for administration, agreements, disputes or legal obligations. Technical logs are deleted according to the retention periods of the hosting environment.
9. External websites
This website links to Zorgfuik.nl, YouTube and GoFundMe among others. As soon as you open such an external website, that provider's privacy policy applies. Caretrap Foundation has no control over data processing on external platforms.
10. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of personal data. You may also object or withdraw consent. Send your request to info@stichtingzorgfuik.nl. We may ask for additional information to establish your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
11. Security and changes
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures. No system is entirely without risk. This statement may be adjusted when the website, the organisation or legislation changes.
